One Day I Wandered the Internet...

Blogs: Here I am, minding my own business when i suddenly felt like putting an "I'm a Mormon" button on my blog. I'm not as blog savy as I'd like to be so naturally I went to Google to try and figure things out. As I was wandering in the world wide web, I saw this blog. I'm sure you'll see why it peaked my interest. I hope none of you are uncomfortable by this post. I'm just simply sharing my thoughts.

Thought #1: umm...

*Okay, I started writing this post a couple of days ago and I've officially forgotten my thoughts. If I remember them later then I'll say what they were.

Anywho, I really like this guy's point-of-view. I also love reading about his testimony and how strong it is. For example, this post. I absolutely love it! I would never be able to think of something like that.

I also like really like their blog (i freakin LOVE it), her blog (awesome stuff), and his blog (it's just nice to know what's going on).

Okay, Okay. This post isn't going to be focused on blogs. Let's move on to other things...

Youtube: Let's just say, I love it.

Some of my favorite people are Mitchell Davis, Julian Smith, and anybody on Vevo.

I can spend hours on Youtube, which is kinda scary. I love that I can learn things from other people. It's just genius.

I really like this.

Google: "Google it" Google-ing things is one of my favorite things to. It's awesome. I google EVERYTHING. I google people like him. I google song lyrics like these. I google questions like this.

Now that I've gotten all link happy, I'm gonna go back to work. :)

Have a good day!

One Day I Celebrated Pi Day...

Happy day-after-pi-day!

I must say. I hang around some pretty cool people. They're kind of a big deal.

Last Monday Rachel thought it would be a good idea to have a pie eating contest for FHE, then she suggested we learn math. I was puzzled. She started to explain to me that it was Pi day. I was still puzzled because i thought she said pie not pi. To read her awesome post about our night go here. Anyway, to make a long story short, I finally figured out what she was talking about.

Here is how our night went:

Round 1: Monique vs. Tyffany

Round 2: Elder Winger vs. Elder Holyoak

Round 3: Maggie vs. Kelsey

Champs!

2nd Placers

I think it was a success. It was really fun and i'm looking foreward to celebrating Pi day, with pie eating contests, next year.

One Day I Was In A Wedding...

Adventures of Hayley Allen's (now Vincent) Wedding

It all started about 8 months ago... "Maggie, in a wedding there are usually people in it." "Yea, I know." "So, I kinda wanted to know if you wanted to be one of those people." "Let me think about it.... YES!" Okay, the conversation might have gone a little different but that should give you a good idea of how it went. I must say, it was fun. I kinda feel like a dud since I didn't do much. I'd never been a wedding so I was a little clueless. Anyways let's fast foreword 7 months. 7 months later . . . Shoes came in! Yay. And let me tell you. They are beautiful. Problem #1. They're a tad too small. :( Me: Well, I guess i don't mind suffering for a day. I can suck it up and deal with it. Dresses came in. :) Exciting, right? umm... No. Problem #2: They're the wrong color. Not only the wrong color from the shoes but also the wrong color from the wedding. Poor Hayley was a wreck. She was in total panic mode and we had no idea what to do. Blessing #1: Cindy. Cindy is the lovely lady who made all of our dresses in less than a month. In blessing #1, I discovered... Problem #3: My shoes are now the wrong color. In trying to fix problem #3 I received... Blessing #2: The lady from Unforgettable Moments said that my shoes will be here no later than Friday (i was cutting it short but i took it)

After all the excitement was over a new excitement set in. Prep day! Here are some picturas:

Now that I'm done pointing out all the fun stuff let's move on to the BIG DAY! To give a quick play by play: Wake up, do hair, get make-up done, pick up Cristina and Kyle, drive to Oakland, change into dress, find crowd, take pictures, go to In-N-Out to buy soda, go to Golden Corral, go home to fill my car with wedding stuff, drive to Tracy to do stuff, do hair again, meet-and-greet, dance, clean up, leave. (only to head over to Erin's house) Bottom line is, I had the time of my life. And would do it all over again. I love my friends (Hayley and Craig to be specific) and I'm happy to see their relationship grow.

One Day I Went to the Flea Market...

Today is Tuesday. Do you know what that means? It means the flea market is in town. Okay, this post might be a little inspired from Rachel's blog since Kelsey and I read it religously. BUT I honestly do go to the flea market at least once a month in Turlock. I saw Kelsey this Sunday and she asked if we could go this week and I, of course, said yes. (Not that she needs to ask me to go places. We just like to go together.)

Anywho. Today was just another day at the market. I bought a box of mangos for $6. (your asking yourself if that's cheap? yes, it's cheap.) I ate tacos that were UH-MAZING! We walked around looking at all the vegtibles. We tried all the fruit in the world. I stop at many music stands... The list can go on and on! Bottom line. The flea market is a pretty fun place to do/ see weird things. We plan on going to the one in San Jose in the very near future. If you would like to join us, hit me up. :)

One Day I Ate At Chili's...

Chili's is a regular place to eat for me and my friends. We go there... i don't want to put a number on it so let's just say, often. You wanna know what i really love? The tortilla chips! Their amazing! Yes, they are paper thin but it's so much fun to crunch them. :D I had this conversation with Kelsey last night, Applebee's vs. Chili's? Bottom line is Chili's is a pretty good place. The really embarrassing thing is that the waitress' and waiters are starting to recognize us. :/

Last night was a very memorable Chili's trip. I went with Kelsey, Moriah, Scott, and Tom. Our original plan was to go to the Union ward's scout fundraiser dinner. Well, let me tell you! Apparently you needed a ticket. Forgive me for being used to the way that my home ward does things but we were all under the impression that it was a sit down dinner. WRONG! As soon as I parked some kid ran up on my car like he was going to rob me. (It freaked me and Kelsey out) Then the little guy started gettin all up in my bidness, asking 21 questions and stuff. I was confused so i looked at Kelsey for the answers but she didn't know either.

As we were leaving, Tom and Moriah rolled up. We told them what was happening and they became just as sad as us. To skip all the other little details, we found dear ol' Scotty and we all decided to eat at Chili's.

Now that I think about it, I guess that's the only reason why this Chili's trip was so memorable. It was more the decision making rather than the dinner itself. I took some pictures but I'm not ready to put them up.

Anyway. I love going to Chili's with my friends. It's a great place to make great memories. :)
